FGM is recognized internationally as a violation of the human rights of girls and women. It reflects deep-rooted inequality between the sexes, and constitutes an extreme form of discrimination against women. It is nearly always carried out on minors and is a violation of the rights of children.

Waitangi Day is the national day of New Zealand, and commemorates the signing, on 6 February 1840, of the Treaty of Waitangi that is regarded as the founding document that established the modern Zealand. It is a day full of historical meanings as the Treaty was signed by the representatives of the british monarchy and local maori leaders.

Fostering Employability of youths living with disabilities

A very interesting project called Inclusive Mindset promoted in Italy by Sodalitas, Fondazione Adecco per le Pari Opportunità, e INNPRONTA can be considered a best practice on ways to promote employability of youths with disabilities in the job market. Long run perspectives and investing on creating a new understanding of disabilities among executives is a key to succeed.
