The Collaboratory will be two hours in length and will include:
Keynote Talk, Reflection Exercises, and Q&A – Jess Rimington and Joanna Cea, authors of Beloved Economies: Transforming How We Work, will present seven key practices that cultivate civic participation and responsible leadership and strengthen organizations and communities. Jess and Joanna both served as Visiting Scholars with Stanford University’s Global Projects Center where they co-facilitated research with more than 200 collaborators to identify co-creative practices that awaken next economies. After discussing the first 3 practices, they’ll lead the audience in an individual reflection exercise followed by Q&A. They will then continue with the final 4 practices followed by another reflection exercise and additional Q&A.
Breakout Groups – Collaboratory participants will discuss how these seven practices might inform their leadership work moving forward. Which do you already feel comfortable with? Which do you need to further develop to be more effective in your work and in your community?
Wrap-up Dialogue – Jess and Jo will lead the closing discussion as participants return from their breakout groups.
The Collaboratory is hosted in partnership by The International Leadership Association and Women4Change.
