This year’s IVCO conference theme requires from all of us in the volunteering in development sector a special effort to ensure strong representation from global youth, not only as delegates, but also as contributors.
 
Together with this years IVCO hosts, Yayasan Sukarelawan Siswa (YSS), we strongly believes that the ideas, energy, and perspectives of young people are essential for shaping a discussion at IVCO 2023 and the future of volunteering.
 
That’s why we are calling on your organisation to reach out to your networks!
 
Help us encourage more young people to participate in IVCO 2023 as delegates, speakers, and bloggers to amplify the voices of young changemakers from across the globe!

Share the Call with Young People:   Spread the word among your network by forwarding this newsletter to young colleagues, partners and volunteers who have a passion for making a difference. Encourage them to become part of IVCO 2023 and contribute their unique insights to the global discourse on volunteering in development.

Special Youth Rate Ticket Offer:   We are thrilled to offer a special discounted rate for young people under 30. This will enable them to access the full IVCO 2023 experience and engage in thought-provoking discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities. Make sure to share it now, as this offer ends on 31 July.

Nominate Speakers and Facilitators:   If your organisation has outstanding young leaders who are making a difference, nominate or encourage them to be speakers or facilitators at IVCO 2023. Let's celebrate their achievements, help them shine and showcase their initiatives to inspire global audience. They can apply here by 31 July.

Encourage Bloggers:   Encourage young inspiring thinkers and writers in your network to create a blog in a series leading up to IVCO 2023. If they are keen to share their experiences and thoughts in blog posts on topics related to the conference theme they can apply here by Monday, 31 July.

Champion Diversity:   Emphasise the importance of inclusivity and diversity in our shared vision for volunteering in development and a sustainable future. Encourage young people from various backgrounds, cultures, abilities and disciplines to participate, fostering an enriching and vibrant IVCO 2023 conference environment.
