Leveraging Singapore’s Resources and Ecosystem to Grow Your Philanthropy in Asia - AVPN
Singapore is at a unique juncture to solidify its role as a hub for impact-driven capital and philanthropy in the region. Since Singapore’s independence, government, business, and community leaders have worked collaboratively to address the social needs of a developing economy, collectively facilitating the nation’s rapid socio-economic growth. With the increase in domestic wealth and the influx of foreign wealth holders, philanthropy holds the potential to be responsive and transformative for the nation and region in innovative and sustainable ways. Philanthropists can build on Singapore’s ecosystem and national capabilities to drive their philanthropy in Asia Pacific.
AVPN, supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), is launching “Philanthropy Handbook: Giving Effectively from Singapore to Asia-Pacific”, a handbook that offers guidance to current and new philanthropists on starting or expanding their giving journey from Singapore. It informs the audience on Singapore’s philanthropic ecosystem, and outlines the steps to get started in Singapore.
Join us in this conversation and find out more about how to amplify the impact of your giving from Singapore to the region.
Key Takeaways:
- The philanthropic ecosystem in Singapore, its different actors, and joint areas for action
