ClientEarth was in the Philippines for a gathering of Green Legal Clinics (GLCs) at the end of August. This three-day hybrid event brought together 15 legal clinics under the helm of Philippine Earth Justice Center, with eight law deans, three judges, legal aid clinic directors, and law students participating.

The Citizen Lab is an interdisciplinary laboratory based at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, University of Toronto, focusing on research, development, and high-level strategic policy and legal engagement at the intersection of information and communication technologies, human rights, and global security.

Tackling the climate crisis requires us to face the challenge of energy transition head-on, wielding bold and creative strategies that put people at their centre. Destination Zero partners with networks and other non-profits seeking to expand their work on climate justice, with a particular focus on accelerating the global transition away from fossil fuel dependence.

Thursday, in Beijing, Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO, co-chaired with Professor Peng Liyuan, UNESCO Special Envoy, the award ceremony of the 2023 UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education. On this occasion, she called for a “stepping up of global investment for girls and women's access to education”.
