ENGAGE is organizing a special campaign for Paras. As most of the rare forms of disease, thalassemia does not get any spotlight in the global stage of public health and I bet that all around the world there are millions of people silently dying because they are plagued by diseases not big enough to create a major health buzz. Still they suffer and they die but this does not count.
