The article is an attempt to shed some light the suffering of women across the country. It intends to the casue of gender based violence and customs leading to such violence in the community. The article also tried to offer a new perspective in dealing with the crime which is on the rise despite several efforts from both government and non government organization to bring it under control.

Volunteering is always a “give and take” and there is nothing wrong starting with the taking part. You can start volunteering for yourself even without thinking too much about your motivation. After all by volunteering you can learn so many things, new skills, new connections and if you live overseas, it can make you feel part of the community.
