Inclusive Gender ( also LGBT issues)

Gender relations are one of the key determinant for creating a more equal society here in Nepal but also all around the world.Even in most developed nations, gender gaps remain significantly high with a negative impact on overall society and economy. Unlashing the power dynamics of equal gender relations would bring huge benefit to the society. In an inclusive space, also the roles and contributions of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Third Gender community is important. Nepal in its recent history proved to be a leading example in creating a equal playing field for LGBT with historical rulings by the Supreme Court. This is not enough. How to change perceptions, how to change the dynamics of society? While it will take time, it is important to share ideas, practices and examples of how the society can be more equal and offer opportunities for all the genders.
