The teachers at the Self Help Group for Cerebral Palsy/Nepal, Dhapakhel were teaching music and helping children understand the falling rain with the lyrics Tappa Tappa Pani Jharyo on July 5 afternoon. The students were singing and watching the rain fall with the teachers. The children in the centre have cerebral palsy.

From Action Aid: Women and girls in the world’s poorest countries need good schools and hospitals. To pay for this, these countries urgently need more tax revenue and yet according to Action Aid, the global tax system is totally unfair to developing countries which are losing a lot of money.

Over the past month, directors from the Center for Sport, Peace, and Society traveled throughout the United States celebrating the powerful impact of sport in the lives of women at several significant events, including the 2018 South by Southwest Festival, the Los Angeles Women in the World Salon, and the USA Gold Medal Women’s Hockey Tour.
