Sport for Peace and Development has a huge potential and many initiatives have been organized worldwide. Yet there are challenges ahead including the recent closing of a UN unit focused on promotion of sport for peace and development. At international level, we need new champions to promote the sector and help it reaching a new dimension while in Nepal there is a huge space for more coordination.
