JAKARTA, 16 March 2021 – Yesterday, Brunei Darussalam’s Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, in coordination with the ASEAN Secretariat, hosted the 16th Coordinating Conference on the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (SOC-COM), to enhance synergy on the cross-sectoral and cross-pillar work of the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC).

From 22 February to 23 March 2021, the 46th Regular Session of the UN Human Rights Council will take place in Geneva. Like every session, FORUM-ASIA will conduct various side events, deliver oral and written statements, and issue letters and press releases.

Today thousands of citizens marched throughout Australia to reclaim gender's justice and gender equality in the light of the recently alleged abused perpetrated by high level politicians, including allegations against a sitting senior federal minister. Among the speakers, Brittany Higgins, a young staffer with the Liberal Party who recently disclosed being raped in the office of defense minister.
