Yazidi genocide: Paris Criminal Court recognises the harm suffered by the survivors and awards damages

Following the conviction of Sabri Essid for genocide and crimes against humanity, the Paris Criminal Court has issued an important ruling on the civil claims, formally recognising the harm suffered by the civil parties and awarding them damages. This financial reparation will unfortunately remain very symbolic.
