Human Rights Watch recently released a research looking at the living conditions of persons with disabilities in prisons across Australia. They face abuses and many face solitary detentions. The report, "I Needed Help, Instead I Was Punished: Abuse and Neglect of Prisoners with Disabilities in Australia" also shares that many of them face discrimination and bullying.
