It is hard to define what is populism as it an ideology that can span from from left to the right political spectrum. The report from the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change defines it as " “claim to represent the true will of a unified people against domestic elites, foreign migrants or ethnic, religious or sexual minorities". It seems that it can further increases and be the "new normal".
