The Asia Policy Forum (APF) is a collaborative effort that offers a convening platform, a community of champions of the social economy and practical learning opportunities to support governments, policymakers and policy influencers to build an enabling environment for the social economy to flourish.

Under the overarching title of ‘Women and Girls at the Forefront of Sustainable Development: protect, empower, invest’, the European Development Days 2018 agenda will be focusing on 'Ensuring the physical and psychological integrity of Girls and Women', 'Promoting economic and social rights and empowerment of Girls and Women', 'Strengthening Girls’ and Women’s voice and participation'.

Now in its sixth year, the AVPN Conference will bring together a diverse group of funders and resource providers from around the globe to take part in the largest gathering of social investors in Asia.With the theme "Maximising Impact", the 2018 Conference reflects the importance of strategic, collaborative, and outcome-focused approaches to social investing - from philanthropy to impact invest.

India is reported to have approximately 15 mllion NGOs in the education sector. Combined with the proliferation of social enterprises in recent years, the space for non-government education innovations is rapidly becoming a network of cottage industries; interventions are often reinventing the wheel and successful practices are not being appropriately leveraged to address India’s learning crisis.
