My Life in Poetry

Into town to buy some paint

4 colors found

Mix them up

Not so easy

As the power goes out

Back to the Village

Jump in an oxcart

Then a bicycle

To my young friend's

I am at home

Sitting with torches

Clay stove fire

Eating roti, potato fry, warm buff milk

children surround me

Hop onto a motorcyle

Back to the Hospital

Visit a young friend

Who was very brave as I led her to emergency with some

Face infections

Doctor didn't take a rupee

Billions of stars

and fireflies

Children singing Nepali songs

as I dance to their delight

Goodnight uncle

I feel the warmth and love

It envelopes my body

This is more than a blanket

Creating friends for life

impacts I know nothing about

This is why I am on this planet
