Hosted by ODI Global’s Resilient and Sustainable Islands Initiative (RESI), this special three-part event day takes place in the heart of London during London Climate Action Week 2026, convening SIDS representatives, policymakers, practitioners, and senior decision-makers from across the world.
Small island nations are on the frontlines of the climate crisis. Yet they are not just responding to disaster, they are leading on solutions. From rethinking global finance to pioneering resilience opportunities, SIDS are shaping the future of climate action. This day is about amplifying those voices, sharing policy solutions, and driving meaningful collaboration.
The day will begin with a morning session on Water Security in Small Island Developing States, followed by another public event in the afternoon on Financing and Governing the Food-Climate-Health Nexus in SIDS. Finally, the day will culminate with the exciting launch of the Climate Blueprint Trilogy: a three-part film series documenting Dominica, Barbados and Vanuatu's groundbreaking path to climate recovery, resilience and justice.
The evening's in-person, popcorn-filled film screening and reception will be accompanied by the launch of RESI's new flagship State of SIDS Report, and provide opportunities for professional networking across a wide range of industries and organisations.
In-person spaces are limited! Register here now or find out more about the three events below.
