The most influential conference on water
For nearly 30 years, SIWI has organized World Water Week. Today it is the world’s most influential movement focused on transforming global water challenges.
World Water Week assembles over 500 co-convening organizations and 4,000 participants from more than 130 countries in Stockholm every year. The 30th edition of World Water Week, which is organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) and partners, was expected to focus on the theme, “Water and Climate Change: Accelerating Action”.
Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) is a Stockholm-based policy institute that generates knowledge and guides decision-making towards water wise decisions. Founded in 1991, SIWI performs research, builds institutional capacity and provides advisory services in five thematic areas: water governance, transboundary water management, water and climate change, the water-energy-food nexus, and water economics.
