When: 28 February, 2.00pm – 4.00pm (UTC+1)

There is a wealth of evidence supporting the economic benefits of Sport for All, and the ravaging costs of physical inactivity; however securing funding is never an easy task for organisations in the field.

Regardless of whether you are using sport as a vehicle to promote social inclusion, empowering girls and women through campaigning and awareness raising, or activating community members through weekly programmes and events, all organisations working across the global Sport for All movement are navigating a precarious and competitive funding landscape.

In an economic landscape deeply impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which hit all sectors of society, this webinar will offer insights on how we can make a case for Sport for All, draw attention to the impact of Sport for All programmes and initiatives, and adapt fundraising strategies to secure a sustainable income for sport organisations.

The programme will feature Rahul Bissoonauth, Director of Business Development at Oaks, who will share insights from the results of the recently published Fundraising in Sport for Development: State of the Sector Report.

His keynote will be followed by a round table showcasing different perspectives and experiences from grant-making to fundraising and fostering economic empowerment, with representatives from the Swedish Postcode Lottery FoundationUpshotPro Sport Development and Women Win

Participation is free and open to everyone, register now and learn more about fundraising for Sport for All organisations and initiatives!
