Weaving in 400 Seconds
Wednesday, June 15
6:00 - 7:00pm EDT / 3:00 - 4:00pm PDT

Meet weavers and hear their stories in these lightning talks, where two share what inspires them as they fly through 20 slides with just 20 seconds on each. Then join them in breakout rooms for questions, conversation and perhaps even collaboration.

  • Brandon Clayton (Baltimore, MD) works with youth to help them flourish and become leaders in their families, among peers, and in their community.
  • Chris Scott (Berea, OH) leads a network of male mentors that equips boys to become better men through mentorship, career advice, service opportunities and a community of encouragement.

Join a Weaver Support and Learning Circle
Starting the first week of every month

As part of our online Weave Community's Circles program, we’ll put you in a group of seven or eight people that will meet for four sessions. With set agendas and a guide, you will talk about vulnerability as a strength, discuss what it takes to connect over differences, and explore the challenges you face in this work. Our next groups start in July for members of the online Weave Community.

We're changing things up

Our monthly newsletters cover a lot of ground and we’ve heard from some of you that it can be tough to find the time to take it all in. So we are breaking up our monthly newsletter into four mailings. Each week, you will have different content to look forward to! Here’s what to expect:

  • Consider This: Each month, we’ll explore some aspect of what it means to weave community
  • Weaver’s Guide to Life: We’ll share tips for changing our lives and culture
  • Latest Events: We’ll list workshops, talks, and opportunities to connect with weavers online and in-person
  • Fuel for Weaving: We’ll offer resources to support you as you support your community

Next week, look for our monthly Fuel for Weaving email, where we'll offer resources to support you as you support your community.

If you're looking to regularly discuss ideas and issues about building social trust, want to find mentors or partners, or pick up the energy of others like you who care about showing up for neighbors, check out our online Weave Community. Get a feel for the community in this video, or join us for an upcoming event.
