To keep the window open to limit global warming to 1.5 C, countries need to accelerate transformation towards a net-zero emissions future across all sectors at a far faster pace than recent trends, according to a report from World Resources Institute and ClimateWorks Foundation, with input from Climate Action Tracker.
Join the launch event for this major report on November 19 to gain insights from experts on progress being made across six key sectors (power, buildings, industry, transport, forests and agriculture) -- and, even more importantly, what we need to achieve by 2030 and 2050 to get on track for a safer, climate-resilient future. This analysis is especially timely as the world prepares to take stock of what was accomplished since the Paris Agreement was adopted five years ago.
