To host 1,500 delegates, the Conference will take place across two stunning locations in Abu Dhabi’s cultural hub, Saadiyat Island, which are about five minutes from each other.
Uniting Asia for a sustainable future
While the world continues to face a multitude of uncertainties, Asia has proven resilient, standing up to the economic challenges brought on by the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and the global economic slowdown. The region is home to some of the fastest growing economies and a significant contributor to global growth.
But in order to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, we must reach beyond Asia’s economic growth story and harness its vast collective power. We must leverage our extraordinary cultural, socio-economic and historical diversity, the resilience and capacity of our communities, as well as our shared desire to achieve impact and secure the futures of this generation and the next. We must create One Asia, One Future.
In partnership with Abu Dhabi, the AVPN Global Conference 2024 will take place in April, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council. This reflects Abu Dhabi’s dedication to fostering global conversations on philanthropy, seamlessly aligning with AVPN’s passion for igniting impact across Asia.
Following last year’s record attendance of 1300 delegates from 44 countries, the AVPN Global Conference 2024 will bring together investors, philanthropists, corporations, policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs and implementing organisations from around the world, working for impact within the Gulf Cooperation Countries and all territories eastward as far as Australia and New Zealand.
This will be the most inclusive conference to date, bridging north, south, east and west Asia through our platform for knowledge exchange and networking, alongside opportunities for forming wide-reaching alliances in the pursuit of collaborative action.
