New to the collective impact approach? Want to start an initiative using the collective impact approach but not sure where to start? Generally interested in learning more about it? Then join us for an overview of the collective impact approach and role of the backbone in our online workshop, "Introduction to Collective Impact and the Backbone Role." This session sold out last year and we are excited to host it again this March!
This virtual workshop includes a half-day training on March 28 that provides an overview of the basic elements of the collective impact approach, as well as a 90-minute session on March 29 for small group peer discussion and more time with workshop faculty to answer your questions.

  • An overview of the 5 Conditions of collective impact and why they are important
  • Strategies to support centering equity practices within collective impact work
  • Designing a results-focused common agenda
  • Discussion of governance structures and the backbone role
