IFES and the Electoral Integrity Project Partner to Sponsor Fellowships

The William and Kathy Hybl Fellowship is open to students or scholars from Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. 

The Charles and Kathleen Manatt Fellowship is open to students or scholars from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. 

Each fellowship offers a $5,000 research award for a Master’s, PhD, or JD student, or established academics seeking partial funding for election and democracy-related research initiatives. In addition to receipt of funding, fellows are engaged in regular research seminars and conferences throughout the academic year to exchange ideas and insights with peers and experts working on parallel projects. IFES will also foster connections with fellows and its global network of election experts to support advancement of their research.
