As thousands of policy makers, NGOs, representatives of Indigenous and traditional peoples, activists, donors and others gather for COP30 in Belém, Brazil, the questions of whose voices are heard in the deliberations are critical and hotly debated. This timely webinar brings together voices from marginalised front-line territories of energy extraction and transition to present their struggles and offer their insights on how to construct more just energy futures.

The webinar also launches a new special issue of the IDS Bulletin, entitled Struggles for Justice in the Energy Transition: Voices from the Front Lines. This exciting new publication features the perspectives of activists and academics in territories affected by different dimensions of the energy transition from Latin America, Africa, Europe, UK and the USA.
This webinar will have interpretation in English and Portuguese.
This webinar is co-hosted by the Climate and Land Use Alliance (Brazil) and Institute of Development Studies (UK).
