Responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic: Leaving No Country Behind is the theme report of the Asia-Pacific SDG partnership for 2021. Reflecting on the theme of the 8th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development, it aims to support regional dialogue, in preparation for the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) and to inform implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It highlights many of the evolving socio-economic impacts of the pandemic, and reviews existing vulnerabilities that the pandemic has exposed. It focuses on the role of digitalization, digital financing and regional cooperation as key elements to building forward from COVID-19 for the SDGs and explores the need for enhanced cooperation among countries to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
