The Government of Indonesia has launched its Partnership Compact, a significant milestone in efforts to transform the country’s education system. Developed in collaboration with a broad coalition of national and international partners, the compact leverages the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) model to mobilize and align resources in support of Indonesia’s priority education reforms.

Convened around the topic, “Shrinking Civil Space in Asia: Stories of Resistance and Pushback”, the panel featured five insightful researchers and advocates from the region.

NGOs urge Australia to back $1 trillion climate finance goal

The report’s release by a coalition of NGOs coincides with the attendance of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and UN Secretary-General António Guterres at the annual Pacific Islands Forum.
