Our mission is to move financial, intellectual, and human capital to improve outcomes for women and girls across Asia. Members of the Asia Gender Network support a wide variety of causes  – locally, regionally and globally. 

From education to health care, leadership development to improving livelihoods, women in the workplace to girls in technology, justice for survivors of violence to ending modern slavery, each Asia Gender Network member brings passion, action and generosity to projects that empower women and girls in Asia.

Vision:

A more equitable world for women and girls across Asia.

Mission:

Mobilize financial, intellectual and human capital to improve outcomes for women and girls in Asia.

Goals: 

  • To drive new and incremental capital towards programs that enable gender equality;
  • To empower network members to be champions for women and girls;
  • To create engagement between members in the form of knowledge sharing and collective action; and
  • To amplify a uniquely Asian perspective, rooted in regional expertise and locally relevant solutions.


Manifesto:

As a network, we are committed to changing the future for Asian women and girls– individually and through collaboration–and we believe, with humility and trust, we will amplify our impact by challenging and supporting one another. 

Values + Principles:

  • We model support, inclusion, equality, respect, courage and leadership.
  • Our work is action-oriented and impactful.
  • We commit our time and capital to causes we believe in, but which improve outcomes for women and girls.
  • We engage the men in our lives to bring gender equality and justice to Asia.
