The meeting of the Group of Governmental Experts (GGE) on lethal autonomous weapon systems is convened through the Conference on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW). Subject to developments with the COVID-19 pandemic, the GGE is scheduled to meet for 10 days in 2022:
- 7–11 March 2022
- 25–29 July 2022
In addition, the Chair of the 2022 session has organised informal, virtual intersessional meetings on the following dates:
- 26–27 April 2022
- 1 and 3 June 2022
- 27–28 June 2022
