Welcome Athletes, Parents, Coaches, Guests, Sponsors, and Volunteers!

Our entire team is thrilled to welcome you to the 2020 Angel City Games presented by The Hartford and hosted at the iconic UCLA campus in Los Angeles.

We can’t wait to see all of our amazing athletes and their incredible families arrive on the UCLA campus for the Angel City Games on June 18th and spend four amazing days with us making memories and breaking both records and barriers!

A special welcome to all of our new athletes and their families. If this will be your first time at the Angel City Games, we are so delighted to have you join us. You are now part of the fastest growing adaptive sports movement on the West Coast and we know you will have an amazing experience. Our team has been working hard for many months to put together a tremendous event.

There’s so much happening over the weekend that you should take some time to browse this website to learn all about the fun things offered at the Angel City Games this year. From our sports competitions to our sports clinics to our celebrity wheelchair basketball game and all of the entertainment happening on our mainstage, you’ll want to know what’s happening before you arrive at UCLA. It’s a chance for athletes and their families to get to know each other better and build relationships that are such an important part of our community.

Please try to take advantage of all that’s offered and try something new along the way.

For volunteers and sponsors and anyone coming to enjoy the games as a spectator, we’re so pleased you’re part of our team and we thank you in advance for all of your support.

Angel City Virtual Games Explained

On March 12th, Angel City Sports made the tough decision to suspend all in-person programming and events in response to the COVID-19 crisis. This included the 2020 Angel City Games presented by The Hartford. However, quickly after that decision was made, the Angel City team began to brainstorm ways to inspire and support our athletes to connect, engage, and build community all while living healthy, active lives. Thus, the 2020 Angel City Virtual Games presented by The Hartford was created!

The 2020 Angel City Virtual Games presented by The Hartford will mirror all components the physical Games would have showcased: sport clinics & competitive opportunities, special events and community building. The key difference-the Virtual Games will last 3 weeks as opposed to 4 days!

Adaptive athletes and able-bodied family, friends, volunteers and peers are welcome to join in on this unforgettable summer-21 days full of sport, education, connection and fun!

Sports
Paralympians and high-level coaches will share safe ways to train and stay fit-despite equipment or facility constraints. Over 14 sports will be offered throughout the 2020 Angel City Virtual Games presented by The Hartford! Work on your ball-handling with Paralympian Matt Scott or learn how to work on your tennis serve without a racquet with Paralympian Dana Mathewson!
