The Pandemic is risking to destroy the progress so far achieved in the implementation of the SDGs. The report was released by the UN Secretary General to the Economic Social Council, ECOSOC on 19th of May, 2020

The European Commission adopted a comprehensive new Biodiversity Strategy to bring nature back into our lives and a Farm to Fork Strategy for a fair, healthy and environmentally friendly food system. The two strategies are mutually reinforcing, bringing together nature, farmers, business and consumers for jointly working towards a competitively sustainable future.

The Wellbeing Budget is the main source of Budget information. Among the several initiative, a strong focus on mental health, fulfilling a promise of the Government, free vocational trainings for 2 years and $100.4 million to meet increased demand in early learning and increasing school rolls, new school buildings and a push to solve the housing crisis, including an effort to fight homelessness.

In around a third of countries, the report reveals a rise in adolescents feeling pressured by schoolwork and a decline in young people reporting to like school. The report also discloses that over 1 in 10 adolescents report having been cyberbullied at least once in the past two months.
