A new Nepali sign language learning app will support Deaf children develop pre-literacy, reading and basic sign language skills. The free app launched on Sept. 23, in recognition of International Day of Sign Languages.

The 2021 edition of the annual Global Media and Information Literacy (MIL) Week will be commemorated from 24 to 31 October 2021, under the theme “Media and Information Literacy for the Public Good”. It is co-organized by South Africa and UNESCO. Its Feature Conference and Youth Forum will take place online, alongside celebration events around the globe.
