In Nepal there is around 40 colleges which provides social Work education to attract students rather than provides critical ideas. unfortunately, maximum colleges are located in Kathmandu Valley. Social Work is not the subject only to talk. we need to work rather than talk.

My Nepali friend Shanta, who lives in the San Fernando Valley where I grew up.  Go figure.  I met Shanta last year through another Nepali friend.  I find it quite remarkable and very world citizen like, that I'm now friend wtih Shanta and her Indian husband Dinesh. It literally blows my mind how things come full circle.  The place hwere I grew up, where I didn't reallly recognize much diversity is where I find a Nepali friend, who is living a very American lifestyle and here I am having grown up in the US living in Nepal.
